Gramsci meeting a success
For those of you who were unable to attend last Thursday’s meeting on Gramsci in the 21st Century, I am delighted to report that the meeting was a big success; a very thoughtful talk by Anne Showstack Sassoon stimulated a fascinating discussion from a range of participants expressing different viewpoints. It is encouraging to see the SHS playing a constructive role in providing a platform for open debate among what passes for the Left these days.
